Native Americans have shown their diversity and strength to collaborate and build and maintain their way of life for over ten thousand years.Not only with life sustaining crops but with the adaptability in structuring dwellings for themselves,which I believe has followed thru to the ancestery of today’s society
The American Yawp seems to have had everything under control living a somewhat normal way of life until the arrival of the Europeans which brought violence and terror .
Native American slavery was not based on holding people as property. Slaves were treated as people who lacked kinship networks. Former slaves can come back to being part of a community. Very Interesting.
The first sentence of paragraph 10 is kind of an awkward sentence since it starts with debates and ends with debate. I think you could substitute conversations for the first “Debates”.
Conversations over the framer’s intentions often led to confusion and bitter debate…

The latest version of this chapter (Dec. 2023) is mislabeled with incorrect Roman numerals for sections 10–13.
Right now, the progression appears as follows: “IX. The Pandemic | X. New Horizons | IX. Conclusion | X. Primary Sources | XI. Reference Material”
Sections “IX” and “X” are repeated.
Could one of the editors fix the numerals to reflect the correct (updated) section numbers?

Which sounds like it would be May 1921 (2 months after inauguration).
But as you saw in primary source section, this phrase dates from May 1920.
